    Hi,

    IT Gossips, thanks for your time. I've been searching for a solution for this one but had not found one.

    I have the latest bsuite 4 on my website.

    I was not sure if your version of plugin was compatible with bsuite 4.

    So I decided to de-activate the bsuite 4 plugin for now.

    Deleted all the files. Uploaded only the bstat.php you have provided and will test it. I'm not sure if this will work, not even sure if this is the right way to go about.

    Can you please tell me if I'm doing the right thing, if not what am I supposed to do.

    Thanks for your time in advance,
    /G

    Hi gautam,
    You are doing the right thing. I was using newest bsuite but I decided to
    use old bstat again.
    This should work. If it didn't work, let me know the error.

    Hi,

    For some reason the bStat.php for not fetching results. No idea why. I tried bsuite.php. It worked fine for few queries .. and after that its not taking any queries …

    Can you do me a favor.

    Can you please upload the working copy of bsuite or bstat in one single location and give the link.

    The current zip has two bstat.php files and one bsuite.

    just one single working file zipped would be of great help.

    Thanks,
    /G

    Is it the same version you are using on your site ? …

    For some reason its not working :( . I'm 2.6.2 version of wp .. and I've put the hitit function in header as necessary..

    If you don't mind can you please re-check if its the same version you are using on your site :) .

    Thanks so much for your time …

    Hi Gautam,
    It's the same version of my site, and this works on me. I'm using 2.6.2.

    The hitit function placed at the footer, before the </body> closing tag, not
    in the header. :)

    IF you don't mind you may show me your blog, I will take a look.

    ;)

    Hi Buchn,
    I've paste your bstat plugin (bstat.php) into my plugin directory..I put bstat_todayrefs(); function in my footer (before /body) then I activated the plugin…Then I tested ..but there is noting changes…Did I do a right things…would you like to give me some adv …My blog in http://www.tipsanda.com

  17. November 10th, 2008 at 08:01 | #17

    Hi komoko,
    Before you use the bstat_todayrefs, make sure you call bstat_hitit() in your
    footer.php before </body> closing tag.
    Here is the code:
    <?php // this is the part that makes the bstats plugin work…
    global $id;
    if (!is_single()) $id = 0;
    bstat_hitit($id, “read”);
    ?>

    @buchin,

    There was a small bug in that script. The first 9 search terms are tagged properly and the ones after that are linking to some junk value.

    Rectified and have updated the plugin with the latest changes.

    You can read about it here :

    Thanks again for your support :) .

    Hi Gautam,
    Thanks for your time and your linkback.
    The bstat you've downloaded is a bstat which is already changed by me to get
    my search result indexed ;)

    I will update my bstat download link to your modified one. It seems like
    people want the search term instead of get their search indexed ;)

  21. November 10th, 2008 at 20:05 | #21

    I'm using it too…works like a charm just as you instructed :)
    Thanks a lot…
