How To List All Microsoft Programs Installed In My Computer

OfficeIns is a freeware that shows the list of all Microsoft programs installed in your system, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project, Access and MS FrontPage. These details are exhibited in the main window.

It also permits you to switch these add-ins on/off. For this you have to choose one of the programs by selecting it and then disable or enable it through the options in the File menu- ‘Change-start-mode’. These options include ‘disabled’ for switching off the installation and ‘previous-start-mode’ for re-enabling a disabled add-in.

The software permits you to save the catalog of office add-ins that have been set up in your computer to regular, tab delimited or tabular forms of text files as well as HTML and XML files, through the Command-line options.

OfficeIns can be translated to various languages so that all dialog boxes, menus and strings will be converted to the other language. The converted strings will be transferred from the language file after all conversion procedures are completed. The translation can be performed by downloading the required language zip-file, extracting ‘officeins_lng.ini’ and placing this file in the folder that contains the software.

OfficeIns can be operated without the conversion into another language even after translation procedure is over by changing the name of the language file or by changing its location to some other folder.

It is very easy to use this software. Since it is a standalone executable no special installation process or DLL files are needed to run it. You just have to operate the executable file after transferring it to the desired folder.

Unlike the previous editions of OfficeIns, the version 1.03 has a new .NET version-column. The software is supported by email assistance so as to help the user solve any bugs he faces when he uses the software.
