Prestashop Tip: Enabling Search Engine Friendly (SEF) URL for your Online Shop
In the last introduction, [I introduced Prestashop], an e-commerce software for shopping cart and online shop. The strong point of prestashop is a SEF URL, which is not activated by default because not every server has mod rewrite and allow htaccess. (it)gossips will cover this topic to you. Here is the step-by-step guide to enable SEF URL for your online shop.
1.   Log in to your Prestashop Back Office account
2.   Click Preferences
3.   Choose Yes in the Friendly URL Section
4.   Save, You will get Settings update successful Message
5.   Go to your prestashop directori (root) using ftp or ssh
6.   Rename the htaccess.txt with .htaccess
That’s it. And your Online Shop will run with pretty permalin
